Support UC Jazz

The University of California Jazz Ensembles is a student run program dedicated to maintaining a strong tradition of jazz on the UC Berkeley campus and providing a unique and important musical resource for Berkeley students. In addition to performing, we have visited high schools in our community, encouraging creativity and appreciation of the arts among high school students. We also try to build stronger relations with the jazz ensembles of other schools.

In order to provide these services, our members require facilities, teaching materials, sheet music, instruments, studio equipment, and listening material for our Duke Ellington Memorial Library, all of which require support from individuals, businesses, and foundations who value jazz education and performance at UC Berkeley. Your contribution to the University of California Jazz Ensembles, regardless of size, is greatly needed and appreciated.

To make a contribution, please contact either Director Ted Moore or Alumni Relations and Events Coordinator Carol Suveda; make a check payable to UC Regents – UC Jazz Ensembles and send to UC Jazz Ensembles, 72 Cesar Chavez Student Center MC 4280, Berkeley, CA 94720-4280; or make a secure online donation using your credit card at: https://egiving.berkeley.edu/urelgift/jazz.html
